Many suppliers and smaller companies in Netphen have no IT department of their own; updates are then often postponed, backups checked irregularly until something fails. As part of ongoing maintenance we take over exactly these routine tasks, security updates, backup checks, server condition, so they do not fall into oblivion.
With manufacturers we additionally take care to schedule maintenance work outside the main shifts so updates do not run exactly when production is in full swing. If something does fail, we do not get in touch only after days but react with priority.
Because many Netphen districts are far apart, most maintenance can be done by remote access, which saves costs that travel would otherwise incur. Only when hardware has to be physically replaced do we come by on site.
