Kirchen (Sieg) is a small town on the upper Sieg in the district of Altenkirchen, on the border with North Rhine-Westphalia, a recognised climatic health resort and designated as a medium-sized centre. Kirchen has had town rights since November 2004. The town includes, among others, the districts Freusburg, Wehbach, Herkersdorf and Offhausen.
